Welcome to the Shorin-ryu Friends Network!

The Shorin-ryu Friends Network is a collaborative knowledge sharing community for practitioners of Shorin-ryu Karate.

We’re a community of martial artists who share a passion for Shorin-ryu Karate and are dedicated to knowledge-sharing and exchange. Our open-dojo policy welcomes other Shorin-ryu practitioners to visit us, and we’re always eager to learn from each other and grow together. Whether you’re a seasoned practitioner or just starting out, we invite you to join us in our journey to deepen our understanding and connection to the art of Karate and the spirit of budo.

Users of this platform share the following ideas and visions:

• We are open minded and enjoy martial arts, with reduced artificial boundaries.
• We have an open dojo policy, inviting other Shorin-ryu martial artists to visit us.
• We are interested in martial arts exchange and knowledge sharing, e.g. in seminars.

This platform is for you if you:

• enjoy Karate,
• love Shorin-ryu,
• respect the tradition,

and still want to look over the edge of your dojo. The goal is active exchange, the preservation and multiplication of knowledge, learning from each other to grow together, and ideally to get closer to each other and establish new friendships across the world, in the spirit of budo.
